Woo finally the CTs are over! Hahas, temporary relief from studying, and back to CCAs. All the best for Sports and the Arts! Let's celebrate 25th Anniversary with a wealth of achievements! (and of course, full days xD) Cheers to CHAMPIONS AND GOLD W HONOURS =)
Anyway, the JTS has been confirmed. Its on the 20th March 2009 (not 2008). We will be having dinner atFish and Co. at some 'glass house' near parkmall (that should be the venue lol). Meeting time ranges from 5-6 and if you all are feeling bored, maybe we can meet earlier to do (I don't know what) something.
In any case, the final details will be posted on Wednesday night. So do check back for the details. Meanwhile, enjoy your holidays! (although its packed with trainings and such)
Cheers, Mayer

Hi people, i just came across this video on mitosis (sorry no life haha). It really does help one visualise all the different stages involved, and the music just awesome-fies the whole thing. I think Ms Farah showed this to us last year.
And here's one on Meiosis. Not bad too, though it got kinda confusing with their choice on the number of chromosomes. Usually it's 4n -> 2n -> n. Here its like 6 chromosomes breaking off into 3/3. Anyway, it's also pretty good in aiding visualisation.
Mug on!

HI PEOPLE! previously what I posted for Bio CT Topics was
Mitosis Cancer Meiosis Cell Signalling (Homeostasis topic) Genetics DNA Structure & Replication Protein Synthesis Nervous System Organisation of Prokaryote and Eukaryote Genomes
BUT
After checking with Mr.Toh,
Cell Signalling AS IN THE HOMEOSTASIS TOPIC is NOT tested.
And also, the LAC OPERON NOTES (Genetics of Bacteria) is NOT included as well.
The Cell Signalling is only WITH REFERENCE TO CANCER. AND GENETICS IS UP TILL MULTIPLE ALLELES.
So in total... we have 1. Nervous System 2. DNA & Genomics (DNA Structure & Replication + Protein Synthesis) 3. Organisation and Control of Prokaryote and Eukaryote Genomes (Eukaryotic Gene Expression + Histone, Satellite DNA, Centromere, Telomere etc.) 4. Mitosis 5. Cancer 6. Meiosis 7. Genetics
...7 main sets of notes. 186 pages worth of content.
AND
Do remember, if you need help for Eassessments, there is always the user-friendly 08S35 WIKISPACE...currently, there is only one there from me after doing Bio. So, if you have more, do upload or send to DK who will convert into a PDF file. :P
